WHAT IS THE FREE PATHWAY TO WELLNESS JOURNEY?

We want you to discover everything you can about our experiences before investing in yourself. 

Our FREE pathway to wellness journey  takes you through 3 simple steps where you have the opportunity to understand whether your goals match our values.

Stage 1: Intro call with Experience Facilitator. 

Take all your curiosity and questions into this 1:1 call with yourself and the facilitator to truly understand the depths of our curriculum and what Shuhari Tribes is all about. 

Stage 2: Try a class

You will be sent a video recording of one of our live somatic movement classes which is one of our Soul Tending Practices taught in our Experiences. Dive right in and learn to balance your mind through movement techniques.

Stage 3: Tribe Call

Shuhari Tribes isn’t what it is, without a tribe! We want you to experience this powerful connection of having a community that is here to champion your growth. Enjoy the exciting opportunity to be a part of an interactive tribe call, meeting others just like you! 

who is this program for?

Are you a change-maker unsatisfied with the status quo, feeling comfortable yet stagnant in your day-2-day reality? Are you seeking effective ways to reinvent yourself amidst the uncertainty? Are you looking to grow from leaning into the discomfort of the unknown and feel supported in a small group of value and passion aligned peers? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this program is for you!
What should I expect from this program?

This program will help you clarify the larger purpose that gets you up in the morning. It will challenge you to cultivate a practice of tuning in and exploring your internal world, and a discipline of taking purpose aligned actions. The program will also help you transform and deepen your relationships at home and work.

What are the different stages in the Soul Tending Experience?

The following are the stages spread over the 4-week program:

MAPPING YOUR SYSTEM: Reflect on how you allocate your most valuable resource - attention.

COURAGE TO LET GO: Create space for the new way of being to emerge by examining and letting go of the narratives and patterns of behavior that no longer serve you.

COURAGE TO BECOME: Re-write your story by nurturing the seeds of self-growth according to your vision of your best self.

PURPOSEFUL IMPACT: Tap into your creative potential and engage your higher self in a purpose aligned project.

OWNING YOUR PRACTICE: Create your own rituals to support your soul tending practice.

What is included?

The program includes daily content to help you practice curious inward attention throughout the day as well as bi-weekly group calls.

•Daily morning intention practice: Guided breath and movement meditations prompts, to help tune into your body and set intentions for the day.  

•Daily movement challenges:
Somatic movement prompts to help practice functional movement patterns  

•Daily evening reflection practice:
Journaling prompts to help seed your reflective practice. The purpose of this practice is to help you

•Bi Weekly group calls:
Zoom calls with your peers and facilitators. The purpose of these calls is to check in on your progress, and support each other in welcoming and tackling challenges and resistance as they emerge.
 
WHAT IS THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE APPROACHES TAUGHT IN THIS PROGRAM?

The foundational evidence based pillars of the program are the following:

•Behavioral Health Science: Our program draws from cutting edge evidence based approaches including BJ Fogg theory of habit change5, Mindfulness meditation6, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy7, Adult Developmental Theory, Internal Family Systems8, and Focusing psychotherapy9 approaches.  

•Movement Science: We know that regular physical exercise improves mental and cognitive health4. The movement curriculum is crafted to help you cultivate body awareness and practice movement patterns that will enable you to participate more fully in all of life’s expressions. Whether you want to play sports with your loved ones, or climb Rainer, the movement curriculum will provide you with a solid foundation to build functional mobility, endurance and coordination to tackle any physical and mentally challenging adventure. The program draws from various proven movement modalities, including high intensity interval training, gymnastics, dance and martial arts.  

•Systems Thinking: Human body and mind are complex interdependent systems. We apply systems theory to identify the key leverage points that contribute most to emergent  behavior of these systems. We then study the structure of these systems by observing causal relationships and feedback loops between key factors that contribute most to the observed behavior10.  This approach allows us to better understand the structure of behavioral patterns and devise and validate effective strategies to improve overall performance of the body-mind systems.

•Agile methodology: To maximize learning and impact in a team based container we employ Scrum framework. This framework is based on bi-weekly sprints, and has been proven to optimize iterative value delivery on individual and team levels11.
I am extremely busy. Will this program will take up too much of my time?

This program is designed to help you clarify your most important priorities and navigate around things that get in the way of making consistent progress toward them. The content in the program has been shown to decrease
anxiety, increase energy and focus, so that you can be more empowered to make the most of your days2,4,6.
How much does the program cost?

The deposit to enroll in the program is $295. This deposit is intended to increase your motivation to engage in the program. But we want all our applicants to start with our FREE PATHWAY TO WELLNESS JOURNEY! This journey takes you through our values, goals and science based techniques, with no payment obligation.

Who will be my peers in this program?

Your peers will be selected and matched based on alignment of values and diversity of experiences. Each selection will be made by our proprietary algorithm and reviewed by a member of our team. We will apply Google Research defined factors, shown to maximize collective intelligence of the group.
 
Who will be facilitating this program?

Weston Pew
- the founder and director of Pathways to Resilience. He is a relationally based educator and facilitator who holds two MA’s: one in experiential education with a focus on relational leadership development and the other in depth psychology with a focus on community, liberation, indigenous, and eco-psychology. For the past eight years he has been cultivating transformational containers for individuals and groups that bridge the ancient practices of pilgrimage, meditation, nature connection, rites of passage, contemplative dialog, and ceremony, with the cutting edge fields of adult developmental theory, relational leadership, and community psychology.  

Dmitriy Lyan - a cofounder of Shuhari Tribes. He is an engineer, entrepreneur, artist and a systems thinker on a mission to research, practice and share the best evidence based practices of individual and collective well being.  Dmitriy holds 2nd degree black belt in martial arts and has been practicing mindfulness for over 15 years. He has been teaching various mindful movement modalities in one-on-one and group format for the past 10 years. Dmitriy has been privileged to have diverse professional background working in multiple industry verticals across varying sizes and types of organizations.  He holds M.S. in Engineering and Management from MIT with a focus on organizational transformations in healthcare delivery and higher education systems.  Dmitriy is also an aspiring singer songwriter and a member of an up and coming band H1Bs.  
How will you measure The success of this program ?

Prior to the start of the program all participants will be asked to take a validated well being survey PERMA1, which was created by well being researchers at Yale and measures well being across dimensions of Positive Emotions, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning and Accomplishment. Your scores on this survey will serve as a baseline. You will take this survey again at the end two weeks and the last time at the end of 4 weeks in order to track impact the program has had on your well being.
HOW WILL WE COMMUNICATE DURING THE PROGRAM? 

Upon enrollment in the program, you will be invited to join a private Slack channel. All content will be shared via Slack. Group calls will be hosted via Zoom.
WHAT ARE THE EXPECTATIONS DURING THE PROGRAM?

Once enrolled, your commitment will determine how much value you will get out of the program. Attendance in the group calls, active engagement in daily practices are critical to your transformation journey.  Resistance to continue engaging in content is expected and welcomed. Turning attention toward resistance as it comes up is a fruitful practice of recognizing, understanding and transcending self limiting beliefs.
What HAPPENS AFTER THE PROGRAM ENDS? 

Upon successful completion of the program you will be invited to the a diverse community of folks that have gone through the program and are committed to the practice of supporting each other in tending to their internal worlds and contributing their best to the causes and communities that matter to them most.
